Two vans collided head on at Rt. 33 near Mill road a little before 11:30p.m. Tuesday night, sending three people to area hospitals.
One person was ejected, but was not seriously injured.
One victim was reportedly unconscious when emergency crews arrived, but later regained consciousness.
Two others also suffered non- life threatening injuries in the accident.
The accident occurred just east of the thruway bridge and the roadway was extremely icy to walk on.
The road was shut down for about an hour.
State Police are investigating the accident.
