WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Man jailed after threatening a person with a baseball bat

On January 14, 2017,  58 year old Ernest Lane was arrested by Deputy Asquith after a domestic dispute took place between Lane and another household member in Castile.

During the altercation, Lane threatened another person with a baseball bat.

Lane was charged with menacing 2nd, a class A misdemeanor and criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, a class D felony.

He was arraigned in the Town of Perry Court and was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.

Lane will re-appear in the Village of Castile Court on January 23, 2017 at 7:30 pm to answer his charges.

 

Daina C. Snyder, 30, of Wethersfield Rd., Warsaw, was arrested following a property damage motor vehicle accident on Woodruff Street in the Village of Silver Springs on January 9, 2017.

Snyder drove a vehicle to Woodruff Street where she parked the vehicle then exited the car.

Snyder’s vehicle was then backed into moments later by another vehicle backing out of a driveway.

Snyder was found to have been operating the vehicle to the scene while her driver’s license was suspended for failure to pay child support.

Snyder is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd and she is scheduled to appear in the Village of Silver Springs Court on February 13, 2017 to answer the charge.

 

Dutch L. Bryndle, 23, of West Falls, is facing numerous charges following a traffic stop on Route 78 in the Town of Java on January 14, 2017.

Bryndle was stopped after a registration check revealed his vehicle’s inspection had expired in December of 2016.

Bryndle was found to be in possession of marijuana and subsequently failed field sobriety testing.

He was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where he underwent a drug influence evaluation by Deputy Aaron Chase, a certified drug recognition expert, and was determined to be impaired by cannabis and unable to operate a vehicle safely.

Bryndle was charged with uninspected motor vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, unlawful possession of marijuana, and DWAI/drugs.

Bryndle will answer the charges in the Town of Java Court at a later date.

While at the Sheriff’s Office, Bryndle had tampered with evidence pertaining to the DWAI case and was also charged with tampering with physical evidence, a class E felony, and will answer to that charge on February 13, 2017 in the Village of Warsaw Court.

 

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department arrested Derek E. Parke, 30, of Pike, following a traffic stop on Route 19 in the Town of Warsaw on January 15, 2017.

Deputies on patrol observed Parke cross over the center line into the opposite lane.

The vehicle crossed back over and stopped on the shoulder of the road.

Deputies stop to check on the subject and found that Parke was currently suspended.

He was issued tickets for failing to keep right and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd. Parke will appear in the Town of Warsaw Court on February 6, 2017 at 5:00 PM .
