Eric K. Ricks, 38, of Ellicott St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with obstructing governmental administration 2nd, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, operating a vehicle while registration suspended and operating a vehicle without insurance after a traffic stop at 12 Swan street on January 11, 2017.
Ricks was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended registration and his driving privilege was also suspended.
During the traffic stop, Ricks became confrontational with police refusing to follow verbal commands. He was taken into custody without any further incident.
Ricks with appear in City Court on January 24, 2017.
Timothy J. Wood Sr., 27, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd following an altercation with another person on South Main street on January 9, 2017.
During an argument, Wood allegedly struck another person.
He was issued an appearance ticket.
Shane K. Borton, 44, of Chase Park, Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd after he allegedly pushed and then punched a roommate off the front porch on January 13, 2017.
Borton was issued an appearance ticket and released.
He will appear in City Court on January 24, 2017 at 1:00p.m.
Sadie D. Waala, 25, of Colonial Blvd., Batavia, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, speeding in a zone and failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle on West Main street on January 15, 2017.
Waala was issued appearance tickets and will appear in City Court on January 31, 2017 at 9:00a.m.
James M. Spangler II, 40, of W. Main St., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd after violating a complete stay away order of protection by mailing a letter to the protected party while Spangler was in jail.
Spangler was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on January 24, 2017 at 1:00p.m.
Robert L. Jordan, 70, of State St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after he allegedly stole a king size Reese’s Cup candy bar at 99 Jackson street, the Kwik Fill, on January 1, 2017.
Jordan was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on January 24, 2017.
Dustin W. Bogue, 34, of Sunset Parkway, Oakfield, is charged with trespass 2nd after refusing to leave a residence where he had no legal right to be on Walnut street on January 15, 2017.
Bogue was released on an appearance ticket.
Jonathan S. Cassidy, 49, of Highland Park, Batavia, was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court for an incident that occurred on April 21, 2016 on Main street.
Cassidy was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court later today at 12:30p.m.
