GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/LeRoy man found with pot and pills

Timothy M. Scanlan, 25, of Genesee St., LeRoy, is charged with criminal possession of marijuana 3rd, a class E felony, and 2 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, a class A misdemeanor, after execution of a search warrant.

Scanlan was allegedly found in possession of a large quantity of marijuana, a quantity of suboxone and Loritab pills.

Drug Task Force members also seized a quantity of U.S. currency.

Scanlan was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in LeRoy Town Court on February 6, 2017.

Task Force members were assisted in the investigation by the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office, uniformed members of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office and the LeRoy Police Department.

 

Gregory W. Houseknecht, 26, of College View Dr., Batavia is charged with petit larceny following an incident at Wal-mart where he allegedly stole merchandise on January 19, 2017.

Houseknecht was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on February 9, 2017.

 

Craig S. McKenzie Jr., 19, of Batavia Stafford Townline Rd., Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant out of the Town of Batavia Court on January 19, 2017.  McKenzie failed to appear in court on a petit larceny charge in an incident that occurred at Wal-mart on September 27, 2016.

He was released on his own recognizance and will re-appear in court on February 14, 2017.

 

Randy R. Reiner, 22, of Washington St., Akron, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after an investigation into a disabled vehicle at 1451 Main road in Pembroke on January 16, 2017.

During the investigation, it was determined that Reiner was allegedly in possession of a quantity of marijuana and also allegedly possessed 16 different marijuana smoking devices containing burnt marijuana residue.

Reiner was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Pembroke Court on February 16, 2017 at 1:00p.m.
