WYOMING COUNTY/Attica Police Officers awarded after saving lives

Five Attica Police Officers received awards in the first ever Attica Police Department Awards Ceremony held at the Village of Attica Offices on Thursday afternoon.

Family, friends and community members filled the court room to recognize the officers for their roles in saving people’s lives on three different occasions in three separate incidents.

Attica Police Chief, Dean R. Hendershott, presented Officers Stephanie A. Ingles, James E. Prusak Jr. and Karl E. Zufall
each with a Medal of Valor.

A Distinguished Service Award was also awarded to Officer Gregory S. Kellogg.

Two Merit of Accommodation Awards were presented to Officers Zachary T. Fleiss and James E. Prusak Jr.

Senator Patrick Gallivan and a Representative from Assemblyman David DiPietro’s Office were also on hand along with Attica Mayor William Lepsch.

  1. At time index 5:57 there is a glaring untruth, I know this for a fact because the incident was at my home. There was no tense situation, the officer had accompanied the workers and failed to follow both the NY State Bill of Rights and the US Constitutions Bill of Rights concerning privacy and the rights of a citizen in their own home.
