GENESEE COUNTY/After 25 years without an installation dinner, Pembroke Fire District holds well attended event to honor their volunteers

After almost 25 years, the Pembroke Fire District held an installation dinner at the Quality Inn in Batavia Saturday evening.

The District responded to 245 calls for service.

Firefighter of the Year is David Olsen/118 calls

EMS Provider of the Year is Kevin Ross/EMS Captain

Special Awards for going above and beyond were presented by the Fire Commissioners and the Community.

Roger Perry received an award for 58 years of service and Chief Jamie Waff received an award for going above and beyond.

Three were remembered during a short memorial service, Vincent J. Antonicelli, James Grodem, and Ray Warren.
