WYOMING COUNTY/Attica Police Report/Convenient store arrests

Wayne L. Pierce, 75, no address provided, is charged with forcible touching after an incident at Ben Go’s gas station at 211 Main street in late November of 2016.

Pierce allegedly  inappropriately grabbed a female employee.

He was arraigned in the Attica Village Court and released on recognizance.

Pierce will re-appear in court on March 13, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

 

Robert A. Steavens, 49, no address provided, is charged with 2 counts of scheme to defraud 2nd after multiple incidents that occurred at the 7-Eleven and Ben Go’s gas station/convenient store.

Steavens obtained cigarettes from both store locations under false pretenses.

He was issued appearance tickets and will appear in the Attica Village Court March 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.

 

Dakota O. Irvin, 25, of Main St., Attica, is charged with criminal contempt 1st, unlawful imprisonment 2nd and endangering the welfare of a child after Attica Police responded to a domestic  situation on Main street on February 11, 2017

After a brief investigation, it was discovered that Irvin had a complete stay away order of protection issued by the Genesee County Family Court.

Present during the domestic incident were his current girlfriend and their one year old child.

Irvin was arraigned and then remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond bail.

He will return to court on March 13, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Attica Police Department in this incident.
