BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Central avenue man charged with assault in Liberty street fight

Jason E. Carpenter, 38, of Central Ave., Batavia, is charged with assault 2nd, a class D felony, following an investigation into a multiple person fight at the corner of Liberty and Sumner street on February 26, 2017.

Carpenter is accused of punching another person in the eye causing multiple facial fractures.

He is currently being held in the Genesee County Jail without bail.

 

Jamie L. Soto, 42, of Bank St., Batavia, is charged with sex offender failed to mail verification form in 10 days/prior offense and sex offender failed to change address in 10 days/prior offense after failing to send her annual sex offender verification form.

Soto reported she was living at a residence on East Main street, apt. 4, and through an investigation it was learned there is no apartment 4 at that address on East Main and she had never resided in any apartment at that address.

Soto was arraigned in City Court and was released under the supervision of Genesee Justice and will re-appear on April 6, 2017 at 9:30a.m.

 

 

Debbie M. Simmons-Keller, 58, of E. Main St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd after a domestic dispute on East Main street on March 7, 2017.

Simmons-Keller was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on March 21, 2017 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Kelly A. Mcdonald, 50, of Kingsbury Ave., Batavia, is charged with felony DWI following an erratic operator complaint near 390 West Main street on March 1, 2017.

Mcdonald was found to allegedly operating her vehicle in an intoxicated condition and has a previous conviction within 10 years, making the arrest a felony.

Mcdonald was processed and committed to the jail .

 

Otto C. Reinhardt, 50, of Clarence Center Rd., Clarence, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd following an incident at the Genesee County Courts Facility on March 7, 2017.

Reinhardt allegedly had contact with an person whom a complete stay away order of protection had been issued, barring him from having any contact with the person.

Reinhardt was jailed in lieu of $1,000 cash or bond bail.

 

Russell R. Miles Jr., 48, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 1st after he was found with a protected female at Wendy’s at 44 Main street on March 8, 2017.

Miles was processed and arraigned in City Court.

 

Melissa A. Wetmore, 44, of Main St. Rd., Corfu, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop in which she was a passenger.

An amount of marijuana was allegedly found underneath the seat Wetmore was seated in during a lawful search of the vehicle at 189 Pearl street on March 6, 2017.

Wetmore was issued and appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on March 14, 2017
