GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Lackawana man jailed after domestic incident in Alabama

David B. Piechowicz, 41, of Lackawanna, was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshall’s Warrant Task Force on a Town of Alabama warrant for two counts of assault 2nd, a class D felony, and criminal possession of a weapon 3rd(prior conviction) after a domestic incident on Shanks road in Basom on February 12, 2017.

Piechowicz was turned over to the the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office and arraigned in the Town of Alabama Court. He was jailed on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond bail.

 

Bettina J. Jacobs, 33, of W. Main St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance 4th and promoting prison contraband 1st after allegedly introducing suboxone into the Genesee County Jail after being taken into custody at court for an alleged violation of her previous release agreement.

Jacobs also allegedly gave some of the controlled substance to another inmate during a transport to another jail.

The incidents occurred March 9, 2017.

Jacobs was arraigned in City Court on March 22, 2017 and jailed in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond bail.

 

David W. Cook, 50, of Washington Ave., Batavia, is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI and unsafe turn/failure to signal following a traffic stop in the City of Batavia at 17 Lincoln avenue on March 23, 2016.

Cook allegedly failed to use a turn signal and was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated state with an alleged BAC greater than .18%.

Cook was issued appearance tickets and will appear in City Court on April 26, 2017 at 9:00a.m.

 

Dawn M. Morford, 56, of Jackson St., Batavia, is charged with criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd after a traffic stop by members of the Genesee County Drug Task Force on Rt. 33 in the Town of Bergen on March 21, 2017.

Also charged is Gary Bradford, 41, of Maple St., Rochester, he is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Both were issued appearance tickets to appear in Bergen Town Court.

Uniformed deputies from the Sheriff’s Office along with K-9 Destro assisted with the investigation.

 

 

A 16 year old female, of Oakfield, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd after being in possession of a cell phone after she was ordered to refrain from the possession of a cell phone by Genesee County Family Court.

The teen will appear in Oakfield Town Court on April 10, 2017.
