John Currier is Mr. Batavia 2017.
John’s charity, Habitat for Humanity, will receive 50 percent of the proceeds.
1st runner up is Ryan Bieniek, his charity, All Babies Cherished, will receive 25 percent of the proceeds.
2nd runner up is Quentin Branciforte, his charity is Anna’s Wish, his charity will also receive 25 percent of the proceeds.
Lisa Robinson, BHS Student Government Advisor, says the event this year raised about $4,500.
This year was the 5th year for the Mr. Batavia contest and 12 High School seniors were contestants.
