WYOMING COUNTY/Warsaw Police Report/High speed chase ends on railroad tracks

Warsaw police arrested Jeffrey S. Falsion, 54, of Brockport, after he led Warsaw Police on a high speed chase about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Falsion was operating his motorcycle in the Village of Warsaw on West Buffalo street when he allegedly made an illegal right hand turn on red at Rt. 19 and Rt. 20A.

When Officer Linderman and Philips attempted to stop Falsion he allegedly began speeding up South Main street attempting to flee from officers.

After attempting to hide behind a business on Brooklyn street, he then continued on into South Warsaw near Munger’s Mill road attempting to hide behind a residence.

Police eventually caught up with Falsion on Park street on the railroad tracks which were currently under construction.

According to Warsaw Police, the lane way next to the track was blocked by construction equipment and Falsion became trapped and had no where else to go.

Falsion was taken into custody without incident.

He is charged with DWAI/combined influence of drugs/marijuana and a controlled substance, operating a vehicle impaired by drugs, reckless endangerment 2nd, unlawful fleeing a police officer 3rd, obstructing governmental administration 2nd, moving from a lane unsafely, operation of a vehicle by an unlicensed driver, failure to keep right, speeding in a zone (75/30mph zone), operating without an inspection certificate, passing a red light, reckless driving, improper right turn, failed to stop at a stop sign, illegal signal from a parked position, driving to the left of pavement markings, operating a motorcycle with an improper plate and operating an unregistered motorcycle.

Falsion was arraigned in Warsaw Village Court and was jailed on $5,000 cash and $10,000 bond bail.

Also assisting the Warsaw Police in the incident, the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department and the NYS Police.

 

Katherine Tidd, 48, of Sardinia, is charged with two counts of petit larceny, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, falsifying business records 1st, a class E felony, and two counts of scheming to defraud 1st(more than one elderly adult) after she allegedly was found to be taking elderly patient’s prescriptions and keeping them for herself while working at Village of Warsaw nursing home.

Tidd, who was working as an RN at the facility for about a year, was allegedly falsifying the medical records of patients, saying they received their prescribed medication.

Tidd is believed to have been allegedly doing this for about 4-5 months.

She was arraigned in the Village of Warsaw Court on $500 cash and $2,000 bond bail.
