The Red Osier Catering Trailer visited the LeRoy Fine Arts Festival at the High School last night and served up some well known staples from the Red Osier Landmark Restaurant menu.

“Customers can tell us exactly what they want,” says Steven Foster, Red Osier Co-owner.

“We can do anything that is on our menu from prime rib sandwiches or prime rib dinners to lobsters and we can do any kind of event.”

“Right now we have a couple of graduations booked, the Genesee County Fair and the American Warrior Concert this weekend at The Ridge in LeRoy.”

The new catering trailer is custom made.

“We actually set it up like our kitchen at the restaurant because we plan on having our chef on board with us every where we go and at every event.”

Foster says the idea for the state of the art catering trailer came about after talking to Dan Clor, the LeRoy native from California, who organized the American Warrior Concert this weekend at the Ridge in LeRoy.

Clor, who is also a member of the band Weapon -X, needed a sponsor for his event.

“He asked us if we would be on board as a sponsor and we had to have a food cart,” says Foster.

“We decided to be the premier sponsor and we had to have a food cart and we were just going to do a little one and we said if we are going to do it, might as well go big.”

Foster and co-owner Tim Adams flew to Tennessee in January and designed it with a company who did the guts, the walls and the cupboards. Then Tim, through his welding and fabrication shop, Adams Welding and Fabrication, put in all the equipment and finished the trailer exactly the way they wanted it.

“It is actually more spacious than our kitchen at the restaurant.”

For their first event, 4 people were working in the trailer.

If anyone is interested in using the Red Osier Catering Service they can call the restaurant at 585-343-6972 and ask for Steve or talk to any of the office personnel to book an event.

(NOTE: The new Red Osier Catering trailer has no affiliation with the Red Osier out of Rochester and is completely separate and part of the Red Osier Landmark Restaurant in Stafford.)
