WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Oakfield woman charged in domestic incident in Sheldon

 

An Oakfield woman was arrested following a domestic incident on Royce Road in the Town of Sheldon on June 6, 2017.

Crystal L. Lawrence, 32, of Maltby Rd., Oakfield,  was alleged to have entered an ex-boyfriend’s residence using a credit card, and while inside Lawrence broke a television, a cell phone, and the kitchen table.

The complaint was reported the following day when Lawrence was no longer at the residence.

Lawrence was arrested on June 9, 2017 after a warrant was issued for her arrest by the Town of Sheldon Court.

She was arraigned in the Town of Sheldon Court where bail was set in the amount of $10,000.00 cash bail or $20,000.00 bond.

Lawrence was taken to the Wyoming County Jail, and she is scheduled to return to the Town of Sheldon Court on June 19, 2017 for further proceedings.

Donald A. Callaro, 53, of N. Main St., Silver Springs, was arrested following the report of a vehicle in the ditch on Silver Springs Road near Evans Road in the Town of Gainesville on June 8, 2017.

A call was taken reporting that a vehicle had nearly forced another motorist off the roadway by driving in the oncoming lane.

The erratically driven vehicle swerved back across it’s lane and into the ditch.

Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on scene and interviewed Callaro.

Callaro reported a stranger had been driving his vehicle while he was in the passenger seat, despite the eyewitness having just observed Callaro driving without any passengers in the vehicle.

Callaro failed field sobriety testing and was taken into custody for DWI.

Callaro was taken to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where he was charged with aggravated DWI – BAC .18 or higher, driving with .08% BAC or higher, DWI, reckless driving, failed to keep right, moved from lane unsafely, and falsely reporting an incident 3rd.

Callaro was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court where bail was set at $1,500.00 cash or $4,000.00 bond.  He is scheduled to return to the Town of Gainesville Court on June 26, 2017 for further proceedings.
