GENESEE COUNTY/Rochester man indicted on felony DWI charge and driving without an interlock device

A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted David S. Hazzard, 50, of Rochester, on a felony DWI charge after being pulled over by State Police for speeding on the NYS Thruway in LeRoy on March 1, 2017.

Hazzard has also been indicted on the charge of aggravated unlicensed operation 1st after driving on a suspended/revoked license.

In the third count of the indictment, Hazzard is charged with circumventing an interlock device after driving a 1999 Toyota which was not equipped with an ignition interlock device.

According to State Police, Hazzard had a prior DWI conviction within the last ten years(August 2010) and was required to operate a vehicle with an interlock device.
