BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Montclair avenue woman charged with kidnapping in domestic incident

Heidi L. Harder, 42, of Montclair Ave., Batavia, is charged with kidnapping 2nd, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful imprisonment after a domestic incident on Montclair avenue on June 11, 2017.

Harder allegedly took a relatives child, locked herself in her apartment and refused to return the child.

Harder was arrested and the child was returned to the child’s caretaker unharmed.

Harder was arraigned in City Court and held without bail.

She is scheduled to return to court on June 22, 2017 at 11:00a.m.

 

 

Gregory Seppe, 59, of S. Swan St., Batavia, is charged with public intoxication by drugs after a report of a white male stumbling through yards and into the street on S. Swan street on June 17, 2017.

Police located Seppe in the area of 60 Swan street stumbling on the public sidewalk and then bouncing off a telephone pole.

Officer Jason Davis, a drug recognition expert, was able to determine that Seppe was impaired by drugs.

Seppe was transported to UMMC and was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on June 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.

 

 

Charles J. Rodriguez Sr., 40, of N. Spruce St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing $44.95 worth of merchandise from the Dollar General store at 412 E. Main street on June 4, 2017.

Rodriguez was located in his apartment by police and arrested.

He was arraigned in City Court and pleaded guilty to the charge on June 13, 2017.

 

 

Deborah S. Rodriguez, 49, of Farnsworth Ave., Oakfield, was arrested on a City Court bench warrant for failing to appear on a traffic citation for aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd from May 17, 2017.

Rodriguez will appear in City Court later today.

 

Jordan S. Thomas, 18, of Elm St., Batavia, is charged with assault 3rd after a fight on Vine street on June 11, 2017 where he allegedly injured another person.

Thomas was issued and appearance ticket.

 

Michael J. Vanbuskirk Jr., 43, of Myrtle St., LeRoy, is charged with felony DWI, felony aggravated DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation 1st, operating without an interlock device, operating without insurance and operating while registration suspended after a traffic stop on Vine street on June 13, 2017.

An investigation revealed that Vanbuskirk Jr. was operating while intoxicated by alcohol and was operating on a revoked license.

He was arraigned in City Court and held in the County Jail until his appearance on June 14, 2107.

 

 

David T. Loucks, 37, of W. Garden Dr., Rochester, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, speeding in zone, unlicensed operation, reckless operation and unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Pearl street in Batavia on June 15, 2017.

Loucks was arraigned in City Court and held on bail and appeared in City Court on June 16, 2017.

 

Jamie L. Broadbent, 34, of E. Main St., Batavia, was arrested at his residence on a bench warrant after a curfew check by police on June 17, 2017.

Broadbent was arraigned in Batavia Town Court and jailed on $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bond bail.

He appeared in City Court yesterday.
