LEROY POLICE REPORT/Wolcott street man jailed on felony drug charge

Bailey A. Kennedy, 20,  of Wolcott Street, LeRoy, was arrested for criminal possession of controlled substance 3rd, a class B-felony by the LeRoy Police Department after a routine traffic stop in the village.

Kennedy was stopped on June 25, 2017 at about 1:42 a.m. in the area of Myrtle Street and was subsequently found to allegedly be in possession of 13 small baggies of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia.

Kennedy is also charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd, a class A-misdemeanor and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Kennedy was arraigned before the Hon. Daryl Sehm of the LeRoy Town Court and was committed to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash/$5,000 bond.
