On July 3, 2017, Troopers arrested Wade M. Westfall, 32, of Arcade, NY, for driving while intoxicated and felony aggravated unlicensed operation 1st.
Troopers stopped a vehicle operated by Westfall on Lower Street in the Town of Rushford for an expired registration.
Upon interview of the driver, the odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. Field sobriety tests were conducted which Westfall subsequently failed. It was also determined that Westfall was operating with a suspended license.
He was arrested for DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation 1st and was transported to State Police Fillmore for processing where he recorded a 0.08% BAC.
Westfall was arraigned before the Town of Rushford Court and was remanded to the Allegany County Jail on $5000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear before the Town of Rushford Court on August 7, 2017 at 6:00p.m.
