GENESEE COUNTY/Indictments/Man accused of assaulting person with a can of corn, a toaster, a vase, a knife and glass dishes

Rodney A. Barber has been indicted and accused of assault 2nd, a class D violent felony, after causing physical injury to person in the City of Batavia on August 22, 2016 by means of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument, a can of corn, a toaster, a vase,a knife and glass dishes.

Barber is also accused of criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, a class D felony, after being accused of possessing a dagger, dangerous knife, dirk, razor and stiletto with intent to use them unlawfully against another person at 58 South Main street, Batavia on August 22, 2016.

 

 

The Grand Jury also indicted Steven R. Columbo on the charge of burglary 2nd, a class C violent felony, after he knowingly entered a residence on East Main street in the City of Batavia on January 25, 2017 with intent to commit a crime

He is also accused of criminal contempt 1st, a class E felony, after he violated an order of protection by harassing, annoying threatening and alarming a person who was protected in the order.
