WYOMING COUNTY/Java man arrested for the fourth time in two weeks

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Welch Road in the Town of Java on July 28, 2017 for a domestic incident involving Jared Price, who is the subject of an Order of Protection and protected parties were at the residence.

Price left the residence prior to arrival and was found by a State Trooper a short distance away several minutes later.

The domestic incident investigation led to the following charges by Deputies:

Burglary in the second degree, Criminal Contempt in the second degree and attempted petit larceny.

Price was not cooperative upon arrest and was additionally charged with: resisting arrest, criminal mischief in the fourth degree and attempted escape in the second degree.

Price kicked out the rear door window of a Deputy’s patrol car in an attempt to flee. He was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court and remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail and has not posted bail.

Previous charges in the last couple of weeks include:

1. July 18, 2017- criminal contempt in the second degree for violating an order of protection (bailed).

2. July 24, 2017- DWAI- drugs and related vehicle and traffic charges (bailed).

3. July 20, 2017- for unlawfully growing cannabis and unlawful possession of marijuana.
