BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Oakfield man charged after following a woman around town, even invited himself over for dinner

Nicholas M. Maher, 32, of  Drake St., Oakfield, is charged with harassment 2nd after he allegedly followed a woman around on four separate occasions while inside two separate businesses in the City of Batavia on July 21, 2017.

On one of the occasion, police say Maher allegedly attempted to invite himself over for dinner.

Maher was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on July 25, 2017.

 

Jonathon M. Ryan, 24, of Walnut St., Batavia, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 10 West Main street on July 25, 2017.

Ryan was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on August 1, 2017 at 1:00p.m.

 

A 16 year old was arrested for harassment 2nd on July 20, 2017 after a physical altercation with another person on Summit street .

The teen was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court tomorrow at 1:00p.m.

 

Dalton C. Kelley, 19, of Chase Park, Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 1st and harassment 2nd after violating the terms of a valid order of protection by harassing an acquaintance on Chase Park on July 29, 2017.

Kelley was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on August 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. to answer the charges.

 

Jessica L. Martina, 26, of Dellwood Rd., Amherst, was arrested by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office and turned over to the Batavia Police Department on a bench warrant for failure to appear in February of 2016.

Martina was issued an appearance ticket and released. She will appear in City Court on August 15, 2017.
