A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted two men charged in the stabbing/beating of a man on East Main street on July 18, 2017.
J.W. Hardy III, 30 of Liberty St.,and Anthony J. Spencer Jr., 26, of Columbia Ave., Batavia, have been indicted and accused of the crime of gang assault 1st and assault 1st, both class B felonies, after causing serious physical injury to another person, when aided by two or more other persons actually present, and also causing serious physical injury by means of a dangerous instrument.
The charges are punishable by up to 25 years in state prison.
The male victim has undergone several surgeries at Strong Hospital according to family members and is in stable condition.
