WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Pike man accused of selling heroin

Members of the Wyoming County Drug Task Force announce the arrest of a Pike man following an alleged drug sale in the Village of Warsaw.

Richard F. GARGULA, 34, of Telegraph Road, Pike, NY, is charged with one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree and one count of criminal possession of a controlled Substance in the 3rd degree. Gargula is accused of selling heroin to an agent of the Wyoming County Drug Task Force in May of 2017 while in the Village of Warsaw.

Gargula was arraigned in Warsaw Village Court and was returned to the county jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail on this new charge, as he was already in jail on an unrelated charge.

The Wyoming County Drug Task Force includes members from the Sheriff’s Office as well as the Arcade, Attica, Perry, and Warsaw Police Departments.

Jeffrey Rigerman, 33, of Jamestown, NY, was arrested on a Family Court Warrant for failure to obey a support order.  Rigerman was located at his residence by the Jamestown Police Department on August 10, 2017.

Rigerman was turned over to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where he was then arraigned in front of Justice Blythe of the Village of Warsaw Justice Court.  He was jailed on $5,000 bail and was taken to the Wyoming County Jail where he will await future court proceedings.

 

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office arrested Franklin Cook, 35, on a Wyoming County Superior Court Violation of Probation Warrant issued by Judge Mohun.

Cook was located at his residence on Fox Road in the Town of Middlebury on August 16, 2017 and taken into custody without incident.

Cook was taken to the Wyoming County Jail where he will be held until the next available Superior Court date
