PERRY POLICE REPORT/Pair banned from store after shoplifting incident

A shoplifting complaint from an employee at the Dollar General in Perry has led to charges against a Perry couple.

Lisa Uveino (Braymiller), 37, was arrested for petit larceny and conspiracy 6th and David Purdy, 34, was arrested for conspiracy 6th on August 24, 2017.

An employee at Dollar General told police she saw Purdy attempt to stand in the way of security cameras while Uveino allegedly placed a box of sinus headache medicine, valued at $3.00, in her purse.

Both then left the store. Both Purdy and Uveino were arrested by Officers Greg Smith and Timothy Bryant on the charges.

Purdy was released on recognizance and will appear in court at a later date.
