WYOMING COUNTY/Perry fire causes $100,000 in damage

A house was destroyed by fire at 7096 Burke Hill road in the Town of Perry on September 15, 2017.

Nine fire companies responded to the James Dacey Sr. residence about 10:57p.m.

The house was fully involved.

No one was hurt. Estimated loss is $100,000.

The cause remains under investigation.

Fire crews from Perry, Perry Center, Castile, Warsaw, Wyoming, Pavilion, York, Leicester and Cuylerville were on scene for 6.5 hours along with Mt. Morris EMS, Wyoming County Emergency Services, Wyoming County Sheriff’s Dept., and NYSEG.
