A 17 year old male was arrested following the investigation into vandalism at St. Vincent Cemetery on Exchange Road in the Town of Attica on September 26, 2017.
Caretakers of the cemetery found two broken out windows on the rear side of the cemetery’s maintenance building. Following an investigation by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, a 17 year old male was found to have entered a locked fenced area at the rear of the building and used a stick to break out the windows while inside the enclosed area.
A ten year old child had also been present at the time.
The 17 year old male was arrested and charged with criminal mischief 4th, criminal trespass 3rd and endangering the welfare of a child. The 17 year old male was issued appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Attica Court at a later date to answer the charges.
