ORLEANS COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Hamlin man charged after reckless driving complaint near Holley Elementary School

The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Hamlin man following an investigation into a reckless driving complainant near the Holley Elementary School on September 8, 2017.

Bryan M. Ihnatiuk, 38, of Hidden Creek Lane, Hamlin N.Y., was stopped by Sgt D. Foeller on Lakeshore Road in the Town of Kendall. Ihnatiuk was allegedly found to be in possession of 4 grams of marihuana, a grinder and a pipe along with  4 grams of suspected cocaine in a plastic bag.

Ihnatiuk was subsequently charged with Criminal Possession of a Narcotic Drug 4th degree, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, Operating a M/V without a required interlock device, two counts of Aggravated Unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 2nd degree, (revoked 2 times and suspended 14 times with 12 scoffs on 9 dates), Unlicensed operation of a motor vehcile and unregistered motor vehicle.

Ihnatiuk was arraigned in the Town of Kendall Court and remanded to custody of the Sheriff in lieu of $20,000 cash/ $25,000 Bond.

A traffic stop on Lewis Road in the Town of Albion resulted in multiple charges for an Albion man on September 10, 2017.

Orleans County Sheriff ‘s Office Sgt. D. Foeller charged  Xavier M. Richardson, 26, of Lydun Drive, Albion, N.Y., with speeding in excess of 55mph, child not properly restrained in car seat, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree and unlawful possession of marihuana.

Richardson was issued appearance tickets and scheduled to appear in the Town of Albion Court on October 10th, 2017 at 9:00am.
