BATAVIA/Protesting burnt fingers for a good cause

Andrew Young, a fourteen-year old student from Alexander has been named as a finalist in the nation-wide Dreamvention contest sponsored by Frito-Lay for the best new invention idea.

His invention, the “ Toaster Shooter” encouraged a group of people in Batavia to join him in his fight to end burnt fingers on toast, as they protested today on the corner of Union Street and Main Street.

The contest ends November 27, 2017 at midnight and the winner will be determined by the number of votes cast for each of the five finalists.

Andrew has a chance to win $250,000 if he gets the most votes.

You can vote once each day on each device that you own.

It’s a fight to the finish this week and Andrew asks the community to please continue to vote for him every day.
