Emoni J. Thompson, 20, of Buffalo, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in Varysburg , Town of Sheldon, on November 26, 2017.
Thompson was stopped after she was observed by police passing four separate vehicles in a no passing zone at a speed of 61mph in a 35mph speed zone.
Thompson failed field sobriety testing and was arrested for DWAI/ Drugs.
She was taken to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where she was evaluated by a Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Drug Recognition Expert.
Thompson was determined to be impaired by Cannabis.
She is charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by a drug, reckless driving, speed in zone, and four counts of improper passing.
Thompson was released to a family member and is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Sheldon Court on December 18, 2017.
