On December 13, 2017, The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Albion man on sex offenses and endangering charges following a two week investigation.
Nicholas L. Preston, 22, of West County House Road, Albion, N.Y., was charged with rape in the second degree, criminal sexual act in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child. Preston allegedly had unlawful contact with a 14 year old female victim in the Town of Ridgeway.
Preston was arraigned before Town of Ridgeway Justice Kujawa. Preston was remanded to the Orleans County Jail in lieu of $2500 cash and $2500 bond. Preston is scheduled to return to the Town of Ridgeway court on this afternoon at 3:00 pm.
