On December 26, 2017, A Portageville man was arrested following the investigation of a sex offense. Michael Buck, 29, of Route 19A in Portageville is charged with rape1st.
Buck was arraigned before Town of Castile Justice Milillo and was committed to jail on $5,000 bail. Buck is scheduled to appear in the Town of Genesee Falls Court at a later date.
Warsaw Police Chief Pete Hoffmeister, Sgt. Jason Linderman, Wyoming County District Attorney’s Office Victim Advocate Brittany McCarthy, Wyo. Co Sheriff’s Office Inv. Jason Mayer and Deputy Dan Kemp all assisted with the investigation.
Christopher A. Mount, 38, of Buffalo was arrested and committed to jail without bail following a traffic stop on State Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw on December 23, 2017.
Mount was stopped by Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies during a DWI Crackdown patrol.
Mount was stopped for numerous traffic infractions and he was found to be driving with a non-driver identification card which was suspended and revoked six times for reasons including DWI and failure to pay child support. Mount also failed field sobriety testing which led to his arrest for driving while ability impaired. Mount is charged with:

Mount was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court. Due to having two previous felony convictions, Mount was held in the Wyoming County Jail without bail. He is scheduled for further proceedings in the Town of Warsaw Court on January 8, 2018.
Chad Main, 36, was arrested at the Wyoming County Probation Office on December 11, 2017 by Sergeant Matt Heim. Main was arraigned at the Wyoming County Court on a felony violation of probation warrant and was held without bail.
Main appeared in County Court on December 14, 2017 and was released.
