ORLEANS COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Albion man charged with escape, four people from Batavia jailed after allegedly stealing from Wal-Mart

On December 18, 2017, on Ridge Road in Holley, Deputy Fox, assisted by Deputy Colonna of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department, charged Shane Bly, 28, of Holley, with criminal mischief 3rd, endangering the welfare of a child (3 counts), and harassment 2nd. He was remanded to the jail on $500 cash/bond and is scheduled to return to the Town of Murray Court at a later date.

On December 18, 2017, at the Orleans County Public Safety Building, Sergeant Foeller of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department charged Aaron Coley, 30, of Albion, with escape 2nd and a parole violation/ warrant. He was remanded to the jail with no bail and is scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court.

On December 21, 2017, on Yates Center Road in Lyndonville, Deputy Marsceill, assisted by Sergeant Doyle of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department, charged Shaylene Powless, 21, of Medina, with harassment 2nd. She was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to return to the Town of Yates Court at a later date.

On December 22, 2017, at the Albion Wal-Mart, Deputy Papponetti, assisted by Deputy Tooley and Sergeant Foeller of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department, charged Eric McGill, 34, of Batavia, with petit larceny. He was remanded to the jail on $500 cash bail and is scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court at a later date.

On December 22, 2017, at the Albion Wal-Mart, Deputy Papponetti, assisted by Deputy Tooley and Sergeant Foeller of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department charged, Christine Jones, 30, of Batavia, with petit larceny. She was remanded to the jail on $500 cash bail and is scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court at a later date.

On December 22, 2017, at the Albion Wal-Mart, Deputy Papponetti, assisted by Deputy Tooley and Sergeant Foeller of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department, charged Samantha McGill, 32 of Batavia, with petit larceny. She was remanded to the jail on $500 cash bail and is scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court at a later date.
