WYOMING COUNTY/Cause of house fire in Town of Java undetermined

A house that was under renovation at 4283 Main Street, Town of Java, was found engulfed in flames about 5:30 Tuesday morning.

The house was vacant at the time of the fire. It is owned by Cregg Paul and Robert Fabiniak.

North Java Fire along with Varysburg, Strykersville and Arcade Fire responded to the scene and were assisted by Wyoming County Emergency Services , Wyoming County Sheriffs, Town of Java Highway, NYS DOT,  NYSEG, National Fuel and
the North Java Water Department.

Fire crews were on scene for about 6 hours.

No injuries were reported in the blaze with an estimated loss of $50,000.
