GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Adams street man damages cell door while at jail

Ryan N. Bartholomew, 23, of Adams St., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief 3rd after allegedly causing $471.57 worth of damage to the isolation cell door at the Genesee County Jail at 14 West Main street on January 11, 2018.

Bartholomew damaged the door by kicking it in.

He was arrested on January 27, 2018 and released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on February 8, 2018 at 11:00a.m.

On January 1, 2018, he was charged with making terroristic threats to police on social media.

He was arrested Jan. 4, 2018 and arraigned in City Court and was jailed on $20,000 bail.

The charge is a felony punishable by up to seven years in state prison.

He also was charged with misdemeanor second-degree aggravated harassment in the January 1st incident.

 

 

Kirk A. Breemes, 29, of Main Rd., LeRoy, is charged with criminal contempt 1st, harassment 2nd and criminal mischief after a domestic incident that occurred at an address in LeRoy on January 26, 2018.

Breemes allegedly grabbed the arm of another person during an argument, the person had an order of protection against him.

Breemes also allegedly damaged walls and doors during the altercation.

He was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in LeRoy Town Court on February 5, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Xavier M. Hand, 21, of South Ave., Medina, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd after he allegedly made a phone call to a protected party in a stay away order of protection issued out of Genesee County Family Court.

He was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in the Town of Batavia Court on January 26, 2018.

Hand was also charged with criminal contempt 2nd after he allegedly left a voicemail on a protected party’s phone in Oakfield on January 9, 2018.

He was released on recognizance and will re-appear in Oakfield Town Court on February 5, 2018 at 6:00p.m.

 

 

Matthew J. Bean, 50, of Countryside Lane, Depew, NY, is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, driving with a BAC of .18%, refusal to take a breath test and driving to the left of pavement markings after a traffic offenses complaint in the City of Batavia on East Main Street on January 25, 2018.

Bean was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in Batavia City Court on February 21, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.
