Karen L. Murphy, 61, of Rochester NY, who was a passenger in a motor vehicle, was charged by Officer Gregory Smith with unlawful possession of marijuana after a traffic stop for an equipment violation on January 28, 2018, no location provided.
It was determined through investigation that the driver had not smoked marijuana, but a pipe was observed by Officer Smith in which Murphy admitted it was hers. Murphy also had a small baggie of marijuana on her person. The driver was cited for the equipment violation. Both the driver and Murphy are to appear in Perry Court at a later date.
