BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Liberty street woman charged after making fraudulent return refunds

Shannon L. Klinkbell, 41, of Liberty St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny and falsifying business records 1st, after allegedly making fraudulent return refunds and then allegedly stealing the refunded money while working as an employee at a business at 577 East Main street.

The incident occurred on October 8, 2017.

Klinkbell was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on February 6, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Freddie L. Cunningham, 56, of Ellicott St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd following an incident where he allegedly threatened to harm another person.

Cunningham was arraigned in City Court and released on recognizance.

He will re-appear on February 15, 2018.

 

 

Devin P. Hofert, 22, of Hutchins St., Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant during a disturbance call on January 30, 2018 at 1 West Main street.

Hofert was taken into custody on a City Court Bench warrant from January 11, 2018. He was also found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle.

Hofert was arraigned in City Court and held on $5,000 bail and then jailed.

He will return to court on February 15, 2018 at 11:00a.m.

 

 

John A. Snook, 29, of Oak Orchard Rd., Albion, is charged with criminal contempt 1st after allegedly violating a stay away order of protection by going to the protected party’s residence.

Snook was arraigned in City Court and jailed without bail.

He will return to City Court on February 8, 2018 at 11:00a.m.
