GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia woman charged after stealing from her employer

Darcia M. Golda, 46, of W. Main St., Batavia, is charged with grand larceny 3rd, a felony, after allegedly stealing more than $31,000 from Rite Aid Pharmacy, at 4155 West Main street road in Batavia, while working as an employee there from October 2016 to September 2017.

Golda was arrested and arraigned in Batavia Town Court on January 25, 2018.

The incident was investigated by Investigator Christopher Parker.

 

 

Jacqueline M. Saeli, 52, of North Lake Rd., Corfu, is charged with two counts of arson 3rd, a felony, and criminal mischief 2nd, a felony, after she allegedly intentionally started a fire in an unattached shed on her property causing a total loss to the shed and to her ex-boyfriend’s Harley Davidson motorcycle inside the shed.

The incident occurred on January 6, 2018 at 5:33a.m.

Saeli was arraigned in the Town of Pembroke Court on February 1, 2018 and an order of protection was issued.  Saeli was released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

Saeli will re-appear in court on March 1, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

The incident was investigated by Deputy Ryan Young and Inv. Christopher Parker with the assistance of  the Pembroke Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Genesee County Emergency Management Office.

 

 

David A. Gurgir, 56, of Hulberton Rd., Holley, is charged with two counts of conspiracy 4th, a felony, and four counts of conspiracy 5th, a misdemeanor, after allegedly conspiring with two other people to purchase a truck and complete all the associated paperwork under false pretenses.

The incident occurred at 4300 Veterans Memorial Drive in Batavia on March 28, 2017. Gurgir was arrested on January 25, 2018

Gurgir was released on recognizance and will re-appear in Batavia Town Court on February 13, 2018.
