BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Akron man charged after hitting a person with a baseball bat

Ismael L. Laffosse, 31, of Fisk Rd., Akron, is charged with attempted assault 2nd, menacing 2nd, criminal mischief 3rd and criminal possession of a weapon 4th, after an incident at a business at 8 Apollo drive on January 29, 2018.

Laffosse allegedly struck a person with a baseball bat and then damaged the person’s property.

Laffosse was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of bail.

Laffosse appeared in City Court on February 1, 2018.

 

 

Derek J. Wert, 36, of Tracy Ave., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd after an incident on February 6, 2018 where Wert made contact, via electronic means, with a person that had a court issued order of protection against him.

Wert was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $1,000 cash or bond bail.

He is do back in court today.

 

 

Ronald F. Ratulowski Jr.,44, of Eleanor Place, Batavia, was arrested on a warrant for assault 3rd from an incident that occurred on Eleanore Place on September 10, 2017.

Ratulowski Jr. posted bail and was issued an appearance ticket. He will appear in City Court on February 13, 2018.

 

 

Bonnie L. Cortright, 30, of W. Main St., Batavia, was arrested on two warrants on January 24, 2018. The warrants are out of City Court from July of 2017.

Cortright was arraigned in City Court and released on her own recognizance and re-appeared on February 1, 2018.
