ORLEANS COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Lyndonville man charged with DWI

On January 20, 2018, on Eagle Harbor Waterport Road in Gaines, Sergeant Foeller assisted by Deputy Narburgh, Deputy Tooley, and Deputy Papponetti of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Merced Deleon, 39, of Lyndonville, with DWI and several traffic violations. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Town of Gaines Court at a later date.

On January 20, 2018, at the Albion Wal-Mart, Deputy Pahuta assisted by Deputy Marsceill of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Rick Larue, 62, of Albion, with petit larceny. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court at a later date.

On January 23, 2018, on Carr Road in Kent, Investigator Gifaldi of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged Andrew Kupferschmid, 44, of Kendall, with grand larceny 3rd, a Class D felony. He was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to return to the Town of Kendall Court at a later date.

On January 23, 2018, in Ridgeway, Deputy Fox assisted by Sergeant Doyle of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Matthew Parker, 28, of Medina, with harassment 2nd and unlawful imprisonment 2nd. He was remanded to the Jail on $1,000 cash, $5,000 bond bail and is scheduled to return to the Town of Shelby Court at a later date.

On January 24, 2018, on Sparton Ave. in Murray, Deputy Hazel assisted by Deputy Reimer of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police and Holley Police Department, charged Christopher Huffer, 24, of Murray, with criminal mischief. He was remanded to the Jail on $500 cash bail and is scheduled to return to the Town of Murray Court at a later date.

On January 28, 2018, on Route 31A-East Lee Road in Clarendon, Sergeant Foeller of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Jermone Wilson, 57, of Rochester, with unlawful possession of marihuana and a speed zone violation. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Town of Clarendon Court at a later date.

On January 28, 2018, on Route 31A-East Lee Road in Clarendon, Sergeant Foeller of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Janice Heard, 54, of Rochester, with unlawful possession of marihuana and possession of controlled substance in non-original container. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Town of Clarendon Court at a later date.
