BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Rochester man charged in stolen vehicle incident

Thomas J. Wolcott, 33, no permanent address, Rochester, is charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle 3rd, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 2nd following an investigation into the report of a stolen vehicle on Willow street on February 11, 2018

Wolcott is accused of taking and operating another person’s vehicle without that person’s permission.

Wolcott was found to have a non-driver ID that was revoked with 11 suspensions.

He was also found to active warrants out of State Police Troop A, Rochester Police, Ogden Police and the Gates Police Dept.

Wolcott is being held in the Genesee County Jail on $1,500 bail/bond and appeared in City Court on February 13, 2018.

 

 

 

Stephanie G. Pelkey, 23, of Masse Pl., Batavia, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment of property and unlawful imprisonment after a domestic incident on Masse Place on February 10, 2018.

Pelkey allegedly restricted the movement of a person inside the residence, threw property outside of the residence and resisted arrest in the presence of a child less than 17 years old.

Pelkey was arraigned in City Court and held on $1,500 cash or bond bail and was transported to the jail.

She returned to court on February 12, 2018.

 

 

Nicole K. Casey, 30, of W. Main St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after she allegedly stole several items from Tops at 390 West Main street on February 7, 2018.

Casey was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on February 13, 2018.

 

 

Tonya M. Ficarella, 31, of  Lovers Lane Rd., Batavia,  is charged with petit larceny after a larceny investigation at Tops Supermarket at 390 West Main street on February 7, 2018.

Ficarella allegedly placed several items of merchandise in her purse and went past all points of sale and was caught by asset protection.

Ficarella was arraigned in City Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

She will appear in City Court on February 20, 2018 at 1:30p.m.

 

Aaron M. Mucher, 30, of Lewiston Rd., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd after allegedly making a verbal threat towards an employee while at a local government office at 587 East Main street on February 7, 2018.

Mucher was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on February 20, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Jeffrey D. Freeman, 37, of S. Spruce St., Batavia, was arrested on a City Court arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on January 23, 2018.

Freeman was arrested on February 14, 2018.

He was jailed in lieu of bail and will appear in court again on February 20, 2018.

 

 

Joshua G. Bachorski, 35, of S. Spruce St., Batavia, was arrested on a warrant out of the Town of Batavia Court for criminal possession of stolen property 5th.

He allegedly possessed and sold stolen property in October of 2017 at Pawn King in Batavia.

Bachorski was arrested on February 12, 2018.

He was arraigned and held on bail and appeared in Batavia Town Court on February 13, 2018.

 

 

Julia B. Wescott, 35, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after police located marijuana in Wescott’s vehicle during a traffic stop on East Main street on February 10, 2018.

She was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on February 13, 2018.
