Grand opening of fruit and vegetable processing plant in Medina
Pride Pak cut the ribbon on its new state of the art $30 million dollar facility in Medina Wednesday afternoon.
The 68,000 square foot facility is on 13 acres in the Medina Business Park on Rt. 31A across from the Genesee Community College building.
Pride Pak is the largest fresh fruit and vegtable processor at its Canada based facility.
With a new location in Medina, the company will be able to meet the demand of locally grown food in the United States by partnering with local farms and maintaining a business relationship with Wegmans .
Pride Pak will eventually employ about 200 people.
