An Alexander man is facing drug sale and possession charges after a traffic stop on North Lyon street in the City of Batavia.
Michael C. Schulz, 34, of Buffalo St., Alexander, is charged with six counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd and four counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd, both class B felonies after an investigation into the sale and possession of cocaine in an around the Batavia and Alexander area.
The Genesee County Drug Task Force along with Sheriff’s Deputy Patrick Reeves conducted a traffic stop on North Lyon street in the City of Batavia, after observing numerous traffic violations.
Further investigation found that Schulz was operating his 2001 Chevy Silverado on a suspended NYS driving privilege.
Also located inside the vehicle was a quantity of cocaine.
Schulz was also arrested on a sealed Superior Court warrant, alleging that he sold a quantity of cocaine to an operative of the Genesee County Drug Task Force on four separate occasions on previous dates.
Schulz was jailed waiting for arraignment by a Genesee County Superior Court Judge.
Also assisting in the investigation were the members of the Orleans County Major Crimes Task Force and the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office.
