BATAVIA/Two men facing drug charges after throwing garbage from their vehicle

While doing surveillance on Monday January 9, 2017 in the City of Batavia, the Genesee County Drug Task Force conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle where the occupants were seen throwing garbage from the vehicle.

After further investigation, Isaac C. King, 30, of Hoyt  St., Buffalo, who is currently on parole, was found to be in possession of a quantity of suboxone and had a suspended driver’s license.

Daniel H. Mooney, 30, of Cone St., Batavia, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and also had a suspended driver’s license.

Both were observed operating the vehicle while officers were conducting surveillance.

King is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th, a class D felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, a class A misdemeanor,  aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, an unclassified misdemeanor, and littering, a violation.

King was arraigned in City Court and no bail was set.

A detainer was lodged by NYS Parole.

Mooney is charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd, a class A misdemeanor and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, an unclassified misdemeanor.

Mooney was arraigned in City Court and he was jailed on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond bail.
