The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a male victim that had just been stabbed with a knife on March 19, 2017 at 10:48p.m.
Deputies arrived on location on Perry Road in Sheldon and spoke with the adult male victim who had cuts to his arm. Strykersville ambulance arrived on location and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries and later released.
Further investigation revealed that Janet D. Adamczack,42, of Strykersville, who is known to the victim, cut the male victim during an argument.
After the incident, Adamczack attempted to hide the involved weapon so that law enforcement could not find it. The knife was eventually located and secured as evidence.
Adamczack was arrested and charged with assault 2nd, tampering with physical evidence, both felonies, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
She was arraigned in the Village of Warsaw Court and held in lieu of $5,000 cash bail and $10,000 bond.
Adamczack will appear in Sheldon Town Court at a later date.
