Jacob J. Russell, 21, of Walkers Corners Rd., Byron, is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th, a class D felony, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal possession of a weapon 4th, growing a plant known as cannabis by unlicensed persons, a violation, and unlawful possession of marijuana, also a violation, after the execution of a search warrant in the Town of Byron on Friday afternoon.
Russell was arrested by members of the Genesee County Drug Task Force after the execution of the search warrant issued by Byron Town Justice Barb Smith. He was allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of LSD and Psilocybin mushrooms and a quantity of processed marijuana and he was also allegedly growing marijuana.
Russell was also allegedly found to be in possession of two illegal knives. A quantity of U.S. Currency was also also seized.
He was arraigned in the Town of Stafford Court and jailed on on $7,500 cash bail.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be pending.
Task Force members were assisted in the investigation by the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office and uniformed members of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.
And there is the last one to see my son alive and most likely sat there and watched him die! Daniel Cherry Jr they never investigated his death they didn’t take a laptop they didn’t take a fingerprint they didn’t put up yellow tape they were there for 2 hours of Batavia City police they did nothing for my son. They asked my children’s mother who did not raise them and they know it where to send the body they helped in Genesee County to make sure I can’t go to my own son’s funeral when I raised them! Cuz Genesee County Social Services was telling me it’s private information on the Indigent burial form that their mother got then they buried my son somewhere else 200 miles away and the funeral home H&E would have never even give me the paperwork because it said on there where he was going to be buried most likely. I signed the paper so he could be cremated and the mother could pick them up she took them home and my son is buried somewhere 200 miles away maybe in Brookfield when he should have been buried by his daughter like we planned an H&E Turner funeral home. And this bastard I think knows what happened to my son! Last I knew he lived on Jackson Street. If he didn’t do something to my son or someone didn’t then why was the whole apartment messed up and part of his glasses were sitting on the floor and they were broke and the table was smashed down? Then after since January the police told my son who helped hide the funeral from me Jimmy it was crystal meth but they didn’t tell me anything and I’ve lived here forever.
