WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Arcade man charged during traffic stop

Tyler Mummery, 39, of Arcade, was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs following a traffic stop on April8, 2017.

Mummery was stopped because his vehicle inspection was expired and it had a broken windshield.

He failed roadside field sobriety tests and was arrested. Marijuana was recovered from his vehicle.

Mummery submitted to a drug influence evaluation which was administered by Deputy Chase, a certified Drug Recognition Expert. Mummery was found to be impaired by cannabis.

Mummery is charged with DWAI/Drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana, uninspected motor vehicle, and broken windshield.

He is due back in the Town Arcade Court at a later date.

 

Jessica Rodriguez, 39, of Pike, is charged with unsafe backing and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd following a two car motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Village of Perry on Center street. on April 3, 2017.

Rodriguez accidentally backed into a vehicle that was parked behind her.

Her license was found to be suspended for failure to answer a summons. She is due in the Village of Perry Court at a later date. No injuries were caused by the accident.

 

Timothy Woods, 52, of Warsaw, was arrested for DWI following a one vehicle accident on Chaffee Road in the Town of Java on April 5, 2017. Woods was traveling eastbound and swerved to miss a deer. He left the road and struck a tree.

He was transported to ECMC by Strykersville Ambulance and treated for minor injuries.  Woods is due in the Town of Java Court at a later date.

 

 

Laycee K. Willson, 29, of Gainesville, was arrested following a traffic stop on North Main Street in the Village of Warsaw on April9, 2017.  Willson was stopped for having a headlamp out, and during the stop Willson was found to be in possession of multiple glassine bags containing heroin and also three hypodermic syringes.

Willson also failed standardized field sobriety testing at the scene of the traffic stop.  Willson was taken into custody and transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for further testing.  A Drug Recognition Expert evaluated Willson and determined her to be impaired by Narcotic Analgesics and Cannabis.  She is charged with DWAI/Drugs, driving while ability impaired by the combined influence of drugs, inadequate lights, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, and criminally possession a hypodermic instrument.

Willson is scheduled to answer the charges in the Village of Warsaw Court on May 8, 2017.
