GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia woman accused of bringing drugs into the jail

Elizabeth A. Hicks, 34, of Jackson St., Batavia, is charged with promoting prison contraband 1st, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and possession of a hypodermic instrument after she allegedly introduced a hypodermic needle with suboxone in it into the Genesee County Jail during a search of her property.

Hicks was brought to the jail on an unrelated matter on a City of Batavia Police charge on April 21, 2017.

She was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $5,000 cash bail and $10,000 bond bail. Hicks appeared in City Court today.

 

 

Stephen E. Edmonds, 53, of Dodgeson Rd., Alexander, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more and failure to keep right after allegedly going over the center line on Wilkinson road on April 15, 2017. He was also allegedly intoxicated at the time of the traffic stop.

Edmonds was released on appearance tickets.

 

 

David H. Luther, 56, of Cider Mill Ct., Lancaster, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle after a welfare check in the Town of Alabama on Bloomingdale road on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation on April 23, 2017.

Luther was allegedly operating his motor vehicle while intoxicated and also allegedly had an open container inside his vehicle at the time.

Luther was released on appearance tickets and will appear in the Town of Alabama Court on May 30, 2017 at 6:00p.m.
