Joshua D. Blaskovits, 35, of Huntsville, Alabama, was arrested for aggravated DWI/Leandra’s Law on April 14th, 2017 on Rt. 20A.
Blaskovits was observed by Deputies failing to signal a turn and was unable to maintain his lane of travel.
Following a traffic stop, Blaskovits was placed under arrest for driving while ability impaired by drugs. A 15 year child was located in the vehicle and turned over to the safety of his parents.
Blaskovits was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where he underwent a drug influence evaluation by a certified Drug Recognition Expert. Blaskovits was determined to be impaired by cannabis and unable to operate a vehicle safely.
Blaskovits was charged with no turn signal, failure to keep right, driving while ability impaired by a drug, and aggravated DWI- child in the vehicle. He was arraigned in the Town of Perry Court and remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
Blaskovits will return to Town Court at a later date.
Ervin W. Delude Sr, 45, of Gainesville, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Route 19a in the Town of Genesee Falls on April 17, 2017.
Delude was a passenger in the vehicle and turned over a small quantity of marijuana after an odor of the marijuana was detected emitting from within the vehicle. Delude was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Genesee Falls Court on May 24th, 2017.
Zachary J. Lathigee, 23, of Silver Springs was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 19 in the Town of Warsaw on April 17, 2017.
Lathigee was stopped by Deputies after his vehicle was found to have inadequate stop lamps.
A roadside investigation led to the discovery of two different controlled substances in Lathigee’s vehicle. Lathigee did not possess a prescription for neither controlled substance.
He was arrested and charged with inadequate stop lamps and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree.
Lathigee was processed and issued appearance tickets for the Town of Warsaw Court on May 22nd, 2017.
Terry W. Davis, 35, of Perry was arrested following a traffic stop on Simmons Road in the Town of Perry on April 17, 2017.
Davis was stopped by Deputies after being observed failing to keep right.
Davis was found to have two active suspensions on his license and was unable to drive. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Maher Brother’s Towing and Davis was arraigned in the Village of Perry Court where he was released on his own recognizance.
He will answer the charges of failure to keep right, failure to change address, and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree on May 14th, in the Town of Perry Court.
Tammy J. Hill, 41, of Covington was arrested March 24th following a traffic stop in the Town of Covington. Hill was observed speeding and a subsequent investigation led to Hill being arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs.
Hill underwent a drug influence evaluation by a certified Drug Recognition Expert at the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office and was determined to be impaired by multiple categories of drugs and was unable to operate a vehicle safely.
Hill is charged with speeding, driving while ability impaired by a drug, and driving while ability impaired by the combination of drugs.
She was released to a third party and will answer the charges in the Town of Covington Court at a later date.
Anthoney P. Passamonte, 22, of Warsaw, was arrested on March 31, 2017 following a traffic stop in the Town of Castile.
Passamonte was stopped when he was found to be operating a vehicle with a broken taillight. Following a roadside investigation and field sobriety testing, Passamonte was placed under arrest for DWI.
Passamonte subsequently refused a breath test and was arraigned in the Town of Castile Court where his license was suspended pending a refusal hearing.
Passamonte is charged with inadequate taillight, driving while intoxicated, and refusal to submit to a breath test and will answer the charges in Town Court at a later date.
He was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on $500 cash bail.
