Grayson B. Ground, 18, of Alabama, is charged with assault 2nd after allegedly striking a male in the face, causing him to suffer a broken jaw.
The incident occurred on Shanks road in Alabama on June 24, 2017.
Ground was arrested on June 27, 2017 and arraigned in the Alabama Town Court.
He was released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.
An order of protection was also issued.
Chad A. Cooper, 21, of Emily Ct., Bergen, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th(three counts) after allegedly being found to be in possession of three kinds of controlled substances while at the Genesee County Courts Facility at 1 West Main street on June 27, 2017.
Cooper was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Cody E. Carpenter, 24, of Rutgers St., Rochester, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more and speeding in a zone on Alleghany road in Darien on June 26, 2017.
Carpenter was stopped after being observed with a vehicle and traffic violation.
He was issued appearance tickets and will appear in the Town of Darien Court on July 18, 2017 at 4:00p.m.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a one vehicle crash that occurred early Wednesday morning.
The Town of Batavia Fire Department responded to 2964 Batavia- Oakfield Townline Road, Town of Batavia, about 1:00a.m. for a pick up truck off the road in a ditch and smoking.
According to the Town of Batavia Fire the pick up was about five feet down into the ditch resting on it’s side with heavy front end damage.
The Sheriff’s Office says the 2009 Chevy Silverado was being operated by Kevin Veazey, 37, of Batavia-Oakfield Townline Road. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
He was transported to the hospital with possible serious injuries according to the Town of Batavia Fire Department.
The Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate and charges are pending.
