Members of the Wyoming County Drug Task Force announce the arrests of two Rochester residents following an incident in North Warsaw on Tuesday evening.
Wendell Fuqua, age 35, of Hawley St., Rochester, NY, was charged at approximately 11:35 PM on Tuesday evening after an incident in the parking lot at McDonald’s in North Warsaw. Fuqua is accused of selling 7 “rocks” of suspected crack cocaine to a subject that had been under surveillance by members of the drug task force.
Raven Houston, age 23, of Creek Meadow Lane, Rochester, NY, was also charged as she was operating a vehicle that Fuqua was a passenger in.
Both were charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, both charges are class “B” Felonies. Fuqua was committed to the Wyoming County Jail without bail and Houston is being held in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
Task force members were assisted at the scene by uniform members of the Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police as well at the Warsaw Police Department.
The Wyoming County Drug Task Force includes members from the Sheriff’s Office as well as the Arcade, Attica, Perry, and Warsaw Police Departments.
