A garage fire on Tuesday night at 6186 Burke Hill road in the Town of Perry has caused $100,000 in damages.
Six fire companies responded to the residence of Jacob and Elizabeth Blank about 11:11p.m. for a car that caught fire inside the attached garage.
Smoke detectors alerted the residents of the fire and no one was injured.
Fire crews from Perry, Perry Center, Castile, Warsaw, Wyoming and Pavilion along with Mt. Morris EMS were on scene for about 4.5 hours battling the blaze which was fully involved when fire crews arrived on scene.
